ADHD Testing
A thorough, evidence-based ADHD evaluation for ages 13 and up — so you get a clear answer and a concrete plan, not a rushed label.
Why formal testing matters
Trouble focusing can come from many places — ADHD, but also anxiety, depression, sleep problems, or life circumstances. A structured evaluation sorts out what's actually going on, so treatment targets the right thing. We evaluate teens and adults ages 13 and up.
What the evaluation includes
Clinical interview
A detailed conversation with your provider about your history, symptoms, school or work functioning, and health background.
Standardized assessments
Validated questionnaires and rating scales that measure attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning against established norms.
Behavioral observations
Your provider's structured observations during the evaluation itself add another layer of information beyond self-report.
Collateral information
When applicable, input from family members or teachers helps show how symptoms appear across different settings — an important part of an accurate ADHD diagnosis.
Comprehensive written report
You receive a written report with the findings, a diagnosis if one applies, and specific recommendations for next steps.
Cost
ADHD testing is a flat $150, due at the time of service. Testing is not billed to insurance. If you're diagnosed with ADHD, ongoing care afterward — medication management and therapy — is billed to insurance in the usual way.
After the evaluation
If the evaluation supports an ADHD diagnosis, your provider walks you through the treatment options, which can include medication, therapy, skill-building strategies, or a combination. If something else better explains your symptoms, the report says so — and points you toward the right treatment instead.
